Westminster’s Local Serve Team seeks to instill a vision and encourage efforts of the congregation toward its work of the Great Commission of Jesus. The team provides the congregation with mercy and evangelistic training, resources and opportunities to pray, invest in, and serve locally in the BCS community.

If you are interested in serving our local community, you could choose from several different local mission partnerships or WPC deacon projects:

BCS Together – serving children in crisis who are touched by the foster care system, our BCS Together team meets requests from CPS workers for children and families in need.

Elder-Aid – founded to serve the low-income elderly in the Brazos Valley area, Elder-Aid often needs help with home repair and construction projects.

Families Count is a court-ordered Bible-based parenting class. Westminster has been approved by Brazos County to be a facilitator of this class, serving parents in crisis.

Hope Pregnancy Center – WPC has been a Hope supporter for many years and we participate in raising funds to aid this organization as they reach out to women in crisis pregnancies.

Workdays at Westminster – held two or three times a year, often in conjunction with service days for our Aggies, Westminster members work on the grounds of our facility, paint, or do minor repair projects.

Move Team – helping our own members settle in new homes
