Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bryan, Texas is prayerfully seeking a godly, gifted, and gospel-driven man to serve as our Pastor/Director of Youth, Family Ministry and Discipleship.
This full-time ministerial position combines a primary focus on youth and family ministry for 6th–12th grade students with broader congregational leadership in spiritual formation, discipleship, Christian education, and assimilation.
The successful candidate will devote the majority of his time to relational discipleship and outreach among youth, shepherding students and their families, and organizing the programming and volunteer leadership of the youth ministry. He will also provide leadership for congregation-wide spiritual formation, discipleship, and Christian education.
Primary Areas of Responsibility
- Relational Discipleship and Outreach Leadership for Youth — 35% of time
- Youth and Family Pastoral Leadership — 20% of time
- Youth Ministry Organizational Leadership — 15% of time
- Congregational Discipleship and Spiritual Formation — 30% of time
Desired Qualifications
- Abides in a vital, personal relationship with the Triune God and is committed to a life of prayer and union with Christ.
- Holds true to the Scriptures, the Westminster Standards, and the Book of Church Order of the Presbyterian Church in America.
- Has a heart for youth, families, and the lost, both locally and globally.
- Has 3–5 years of ministry experience in youth, family, or discipleship ministry.
- Holds or is actively pursuing a seminary or advanced degree in Biblical studies, Christian education, or a related field.
- Is ordainable or ordained in the PCA or a compatible Reformed denomination.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
